Perfectly Pink Range...

Hippity hoppity, Easter's is here!  The sweetest and sugary of spring holidays calls for natural-looking makeup that's punctuated with pastels and what better way to feature some of my favourite brushes from the Perfectly Pink Crown brush series to go with your Easter Make-up looks this weekend!

With over 20+ Perfectly Pink Series brushes in the range I have knuckled down some of my top favourites which I am loving using on my make-up jobs lately. They are all constructed with a high grade sable, goat, taklon and synthetic blend. Each brush features a matte silver ferrule and birch wood handle covered in the “perfect” shade of pink!

PP08 Badger Deluxe Fan-£6.99

A fan brush is one of the most practical makeup tool essentials in my kit. It's often used to apply a setting powder for a soft-focus, weightless kind of finish, but that's not the only reason this multitasking makeup brush is so great.
~
Here are some top ways I use my Fan Brush:

Mistake eraser
If your powdered makeup products (especially eye shadow) are leaving flecks behind, a light swipe of the fan brush can easily wipe away the excess.

Blusher/bronzer
If you want just a sheer touch of blush or bronzer on your cheeks, a fan brush will enable you to create a softer look. In turn, use the brush's flat shape to assist in contouring where needed.

PP09 Deluxe Oval Foundation-£6.09

Made from Premium, soft taklon bristles this brush is used to gently blend and camouflage imperfections. A necessary tool for the precise and expert application of creams and liquids, foundations, concealers and correctors!  The flat bristles and oval shape simply glide effortlessly to create a perfect finish!

PP19 Oval Lip- £2.49

This brush is titled as an Oval Lip brush- However I can’t use an oval brushes to do my lip work, but there is no rules what each brush does it’s a matter of experimenting with brushes and seeing which is suitable for you when applying make-up.  I have found the perfect use for this brush- Precision Concealer brush! This flat, thin precision-tip brush enables me to create smooth application of cream and liquid concealers, even in hard-to-reach areas like the inner corners of the eyes and lower lashline.

How to Clean Your Make-up Brushes...

...With Crownbrush Brush Cleaner

A Make-up brush Cleaner is designed to enhance the performance and prolong the life of your Crownbrush makeup brushes. It dissolves the build-up of grime, makeup and oil and is ideal for cleaning natural and synthetic brushes when you don't have time to wash them as well as removing stubborn stains and working with oil-based products.

The Crownbrush Make-up brush cleaner comes in three sizes. 2oz- £4.99 (60ml) & 8oz- £9.99 (250ml) with an easy screw on open nozzle- ideally for applying a lot of product into a bowl, tissue or directly on your brushes. There is also 4oz - £8.49(125ml) available which has a spray screw-on nozzle which is perfect travelling or for quick disinfecting brushes on a make-up job. And the best thing about the brush cleaner for me is that it's pink and smells of Vanilla!

For your brushes that you find you use daily on yourself I would recommend to clean them once a week and for make-up artists to wash them before every job (The night before to allow enough time to dry). Regular Cleaning Will Help Remove: Old Makeup, Dirt and Debris, Dead Skin Cells, Bacteria and Oils.
Another benefit of keeping your makeup brushes clean is softness. Makeup buildup on your brushes can make them feel scratchy. Cleaning your brushes on a regular basis will help keep them soft and supple. This is especially great for people with sensitive skin.

Step-By-Step Guide How to Clean Your Brushes:

Step 1:
Pick your chosen size Crownbrush Make-up Brush Cleaner &

Step 2:

Squirt a small amount of the brush cleaner in the bowl half way through and now take a dirty make-up brush

*TOP TIP*

Small sized brush will fit in the Stainless bowl, however larger powder/kabuki brushes will need to be cleaned using the 4oz Spray nozzle or the more tradition way of shampoo and conditioner under water.

Step 3:

This is the fun bit! Like you did in elementary school with your paint brushes (more gently), softly swirl your makeup brushes in the brush cleaner to loosen the oils and makeup. Dump out the dirty cleaner and repeat until your brush runs clean.(If you have a particularly soiled brush, leave your make-up brush to soak in the brush cleaner for 10 minutes)

Step 4:

Gently wipe away any excess makeup brush cleaner on kitchen roll.

Step 5:
Finally prop the handles of the brushes on a ledge or on top of a folded towel so that the water will drain down and out of the bristles. Let them air dry overnight and fluff in the morning. I suggest never to use a hair dryer it makes the hairs go frizzy and out of shape.

How will you be cleaning your Crown brushes?

NEW Crownbrush Pro Brow Palette - Step-by-Step Guide

I have loved playing with The NEW Crownbrush Pro Brow eyebrow kit and I am very excited to share this new product with you guys today!  The NEW Crownbrush Pro Brow palette has been  designed for shaping & defining to get gorgeous brows- something which I always spend a lot of time on myself and working on models.

The set is suitable for brunettes and blondes which can be mixed by using the two eyebrow powder shades for a customised colour, it then gives you the option to choose from a selection of three brow stencils for your desired shape - from Girl Next Door to Femme Fatale.

One thing which I love from the set is the mini tweezers, angled brush, brow pencil and a brow comb you get which creates a flawless finish to your brows. You’ll even find a highlighting cream product to make the most of your new assets to make the brows pop and finally an eye primer to finish the whole eye look off ready for eyeshadow application!

Step-by-Step Guide How to Use The Pro Brow Kit:

Step 1:

Select your chosen eyebrow stencil that defines you by placing over your brows.

Step 2:

Take your angled brush included and combine the powder shades and fill in the stencil.

Step 3:

Now slowly remove the stencil. If there any un-wanted brow hairs take the mini tweezers and remove.

Step 4:

Take the eyebrow pencil and gently fill in the stencil area to create the perfect arch and eyebrow tail to define the brows perfectly. Now taking the eyebrow comb included and gently brush through the brow design.

Step 5:

Finally, apply highlighter under the arch and blend downwards for an instant eye lift!
